Like all exterior solar powered lighting fixtures, patio solar lights do not need to be connected to an outdoor power outlet. Thus, there are no loose cords around the perimeter of your patio to have to navigate around or over. And like all solar driven fixtures these lighting fixures soak up the natural light during the duration of the daytime saving up enough power to light your outdoor environment. The have sensors that are built into the lighting, which sense when it is nite and day. Therefore, they don’t have to be switched on in the evening as they just automatically turn on brightening your patio.

Solar patio string lights can be found in various lengths up to thirty-six feet with one hundred bulbs per string. Solar string lights typically cost around 70 to 80 dollars per string. That is admittedly expensive, however considering the convenience and savings in electricity, they are a bargain. They are generally available with white-colored bulbs and more festive bulbs are also available for using during holiday seasons in green and red. Some solar string lights are generally made out of hand blown bulbs and are more expensive. They are usually bigger in size and have ornamental patterns.
